What an enchanted evening we had on Valentines Day. 72 of us gathered to celebrate the idea of Love. Live music was provided by Mike Deatz and Karen Cross, while a lovely meal was served. Then we adjourned to the sanctuary for more music performed by Cindy Reyes and Harry Dixon. We want to extend a big thank you to all four of them for making the evening so very special. Also thank you to all the kids who served the meal and helped clear the tables. To all the kitchen help and all the cooks who made the wonderful Lasagna. A great big THANK YOU to Nick and Deb Cattell, Joan Michael, Donna Criswell and Pastor C J for putting the evenings activity together and making it such a memorable night. A service was held in which nine couples reaffirmed their wedding vows. These couples represented 369 years of married life and they where willing to do it all over again. What a magnificent way to say “I love you” to that very special person. After the service a reception was held for all the brides and grooms of the night.
The tips which were collected will be placed in the furnace fund to help replace the other two furnaces. A total of $233.57 after experiences was donated. Thank you one and all.
